Introduction: Simply Sugar is a custom cake design studio that specializes in wedding and specialty cakes. We proudly serve the St. Louis and surrounding areas and create everything in our private studio. It is our mission to provide beautifully detailed, custom cakes and confections using the finest quality ingredients. We specialize in fondant and buttercream cakes, delectable flavor profiles, sculpting and molding fine details and toppers, and exquisite handmade sugar flowers. Our dedication to quality and details, coupled with extensive recipe tasting is what sets Simply Sugar apart and keeps our clients coming back for years to come! My name is Lindsey Braband, and I am the owner and artist behind Simply Sugar. I started this business in 2011 with the desire to create memorable and delicious cakes. I have an immense passion for edible art and the story each piece I create tells. I am self taught and I have let my vision and dreams take off and guide me in the years I've been in business. I take pride in creating everything from scratch with my own recipes, taking the finest ingredients and making them into something that fills you with delight and joy when you eat it. My hopes are to continue learning and taking courses that expand my knowledge of creating cakes, and of course meeting some very talented artists along the way. I love to let my artistic and creative side show through my creations, making masterpieces that will leave you and your guests with delightful memories in the years to come!

    We do not have standard pricing at this time, all of our work is custom so pricing is based off of serving size, ingredient cost, and amount of work/detail.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We typically discuss what you are wanting via phone, messaging, or consultation. We want to be sure to get as much information from you regarding your upcoming event prior to giving a quote to be sure it's accurate. We discuss flavors and designs and if you decide to book with Simply Sugar we send you an electronic contract and a deposit invoice, after both are completed then you are scheduled on our books!

    I've always had a passion for creating beautiful art, that ventured me into the world of cakes and the beautiful story each piece I create tells.
