FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am currently offering an Introductory Package of 4 sessions over an 8-week period for a special Thumbtack price of $525, which includes a Personal Development Plan designed to help you achieve your goals. Six month programs are also available and custom programs may be designed on a case by case basis, depending on the topic and your history of engaging in various types of personal development. We can discuss pricing based on your specific needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we have connected to make sure we feel like a good fit, we will schedule our initial session, during which I will learn more about you and your life and the topic with which you are asking for help. I will likely offer immediate feedback and recommendations so that you can begin making progress. Between coaching sessions, I will conduct an assessment, provide an outline of the outcomes you are working toward, and create a customized Personal Development Plan for you. Depending on the length of your program, you may opt to work independently after just a few sessions, or we may continue to meet so I can provide ongoing observations, recommendations, guidance and support.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an extensive background in both non-profit and corporate human resources, which has included coaching leaders and employees at all levels. Highlights include over a decade in various HR roles supporting senior leaders and their teams at Genentech, a few years in HR at Levi Strauss and Co., and building the HR function from the ground up at a musical theatre company in Santa Barbara. My undergraduate degree from the University of California is in Communications and I am a trained Mediator and Meyers-Briggs administrator. Most of all, I am proud to have earned the professional designation of Integral Coach®, having graduated from the year-long Professional Coaching Certification program at New Ventures West in San Francisco, CA. In addition to my private practice, I also coach young entrepreneurs through Youth Business USA, an Oakland-based non-profit dedicated to helping under-served young adults achieve their business dreams.
