- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will do a reduced cost first hour as an assessment for the both of us. During this assessment, we can discuss your expectations and we can both determine the best course of action moving forward. We will also go through a typical lesson so the student knows what to expect in the future and so they are aware what they need to do in order to improve in the class/course. From then, each party should have a better understanding of how each other works and a regular schedule can be set.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would hire the person that the student feels most comfortable with as well as someone who is experienced in their field and area of study. The tutor should be able to clearly and succinctly explain the process at any learning level so the student is able to understand and replicate problems/questions on their own without assistance.
