FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When I respond to a request I include a full menu of services and rates, but pricing is straightforward, mostly flat rate (no nickel and dime-ing), you control the costs. For those who are budget conscious I recommend the one-page website to get yourself out there. My website services range from $500 (one page website) to "the works" for website, web store and social media for $4,000+ and turn around is usually a week for one page websites and up to 30 days for more elaborate projects. I can work with just about any budget and discounts available for Veteran, 501c3 non-profit organizations and the permanently disabled (SSDI). All services include a general “How To’ guide for maintenance, so none of this "hear you go, good luck figuring out how to maintain it." - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is for us to exchange questions, answers and ideas to find out the end result you're looking for and how involved you want to be in maintaining your site/social media accounts. I can advise on strategies for getting there and if I don't have a particular skill set needed, I have a solid network of skilled pros I can refer you to or bring them into the project if you like, so you have one main point of contact to get the job done. I focus on foundational setups, so no more than 10 page websites and no custom scripting. I mainly work with Wordpress, but if a non-techie client wants to be able to maintain their own website, then I recommend GoDaddy and their user friendly web design platform. It has its limitations in design, but the company is well established and offers direct support to it's customers, walking them through minor changes to their sites. Projects I take on are completed within 3-14 days, depending on complexity and readiness of the client.
