FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices start at $85 and are generally 1/2 of what you would pay at national chains and significantly lower than traditional CPA firms. We guarantee our work, and you don't have to pay any extra for "peace of mind." New clients receive $20 off their first year. We also offer a referral credit of $20 if you send anyone our way.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon as you hire us we will contact you to discuss your tax return needs. We will then send you a list of all of the information we need to accurately prepare your returns. If you are local you can come into our office and we will prepare them while you are there. If working remotely we will arrange for you to send all of your documents to us securely. Once we have all of the information we generally only need 24 hours to complete your return. If you need it faster than this, just ask. Then we will send you a draft and call you to review everything and discuss it. We file electronically for you, making it super easy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors's degree from Brigham Young University and a Master's Degree from the University of Utah. I am a RTRP (Registered Tax Return Preparer) with the IRS, and I have completed all testing and registration for the IRS Enrolled Agent program. This designation gives me the same standing before the IRS as an attorney or CPA. During my 11 year career I have personally prepared over 10,000 individual and business tax returns.
