FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because photography spans so many forms and disciplines - photography, video, 3D, and audio, there is no reasonable way to create a 'standard' pricing system. Each job has to be evaluated on its own merits and challenges. The one thing that is common in most of these forms is that there is field work for recording the images and post-production work that takes those images and brings them into final form. So what seems like a one hour job to the client, is, in reality, a three to five hour job for the photographer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to talk to the client about their vision with regard to their expectations. Within the lifestyle concept I shoot a number of styles. The scope can range from traditional family to business corporate lifestyle and each of these can take on different challenges. Once I determine your needs, I try to come up with the best solution to bring your vision to reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer since a very young age and have been working professionally for more than 10 years. I also am an established authority having written on the the topics of photography, video, 3D, and audio for over eight years at Blogcritics.org (over 1000 articles and product reviews) blogcritics.org/author/t-michael-testi/
