The needs can range from wide angle shots of the entire clan at large, local family reunions to detailed, high-resolution video of an on-going construction project on the opposite coast for a property development firm, and all sorts of challenges in between. But if you don't hire a professional with a remote pilot certificate, who operates equipment registered with the FAA, and is fully insured, you're potentially opening yourself up to legal and financial risk.
