- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In my discovery process, I assess their history, personal preferences and work with them to set some realistic goals. Then, I help them top develop a plan to reach those goals. After that, its time to put in the necessary work!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Health Recreation. I am also a Certified Fitness Trainer, a Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist, a Certifed Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist as well as a Certified First Aid/CPR Instructor. I also hold additional certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFFA), The National Fitness Professional Training Association (NETA) and the Apex Fitness Group.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After wrapping up my career in the CFL, I wanted to make a difference in my hometown. So I made it my mission to transform the lives of the people in my community by raising awareness about the effects of poor diet and lack of exercise.
