Actually, for 99% of our clients, we only need one session to put a stop to your dog problems (after rehabilitating nearly 2,000 dogs, we’ve only needed more than one session for a dozen clients). We are able to achieve such quick and dramatic results by using Dog Psychology, positive reinforcement and many of the same communication cues dogs use with one another.
Our two primary types of sessions are dog obedience training and dog behavior training, but we can help you with any kind of dog behavior problem; overexcitement, stop dog barking, humping, mouthing, nipping, puppy training, obedience training, potty training, separation anxiety, kennel training, heel and leash training, dog obedience, chewing, jumping up, dog behavior modification, not listening, counter surfing, running away, fear of loud noises, leash aggression, dog aggression, submissive urination, anxiety, marking, lack of confidence and more.
We are dog behaviorists. Trainers teach dogs to do things, we teach humans how to get their dogs to NOT do things!
Our primary goal is to help our clients control their animals. We do this by focusing on three things:
1) Help the client communicate with their dog in a way the dog understands.
2) Help the dog identify the owner as an authority figure
3) Help the owner keep the dog calm and from getting over excited
We do not believe in or practice techniques that incorporate dominance theory. That is a fear based method that most dog behaviorists recognize as a poor method of working with canines.
We use positive reinforcement and many of the same communication methods dogs use with one another which is why we are able to get such dramatic and immediate results in a single visit.
We have worked with over 2,000 dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds and have yet to run across an issue we couldn't solve.
