FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are many variables in tree work that effect the cost. A tree in the back yard costs more than the same tree in the front yard. How big is the tree? Is there a fence or landscape below the work area? Is there a structure near the work area? Is the tree dead or alive? Is the tree hazardous? Are there any branches over a roof or structure? Can the branches or tree be cut and dropped or does it need to be lowered with a rope? Can the job be done from the ground or does a climber have to climb the tree? What equipment is needed to complete the job? Does the debris need to be hauled off or not? These are just a few of the variables that are taken into consideration when providing an estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will travel to the job site. I will listen to the customers needs, assess the job requirements, take into consideration the variables and give the customer a quote. If the customer is ready to get the job done, I will schedule the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ISA Certified Arborist. I have been doing tree work for over 20 years and there is no job or situation that I haven't done.
