FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is difficult to make standard because of Thumbtacks quirky credit policy, one day a job might be two credits or up to eleven. If we have repeat customers we like to give them a discount of 25% for the first cleaning and a further discount if they require weekly cleanings (the cleaner it is, the less work to be done - it's that simple).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I realize a new customer can be rather skeptical at first, especially if they have been burned in the past by less reputable cleaners. Together, the customer and I ensure everything is discussed, making sure to address any concerns they may have. At the end of the cleaning we invite the customer to do a quick inspection before we leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The people we have in our employment have vast experience in the work industry and in general. Two of us have a combined 15 years of military experience and don't think we could find a customer that is tougher than they were, as well as running a small business lawn care we have also worked all over the world in different areas. All of us are college students working on our degrees as well as running this business.
