Introduction: Hi! My name is Joey Williams and I am the owner and builder for Tool Shed Originals. I live in Kansas City and build furniture out of a tool shed in my back yard (hence the name). I spend the majority of my time in an office behind a desk so I revel in the time i get to spend creating something with my hands. I believe we were made to be creative and anytime I build something I feel a great sense of fulfillment. Everything that goes out my doors is 1 of 1 built especially for you. It fills us in a way that simply swiping a card for a purchase can't. That is why almost all of my work requires some assembly by the customer. I want you to be a part of your piece's story. To come along side me as a maker and share the satisfaction of building something from nothing. Everything that leaves the Tool Shed has been built by my two hands. My small shop has no heat and no AC. I am hot when it is hot and cold when it is cold. Every work is a labor of love, and I like it that way. It keeps me honest and focused on crafting the best possible works I can.
