Dennis took of his time to make sure that I could speak with him. He listened carefully and allowed me to say all I had to say. Once I finished he allowed me to come to my own conclusions and supported my decisions. He supported me many years in that decision which was to marry my wife of almost 20 years now. In addition to his initial counseling and mentoring he has made time to be with my family through some very troubling times. He has a real heart of compassion and caring and it shows when he listens, talks and just visits with you. God has blessed me and my family through Dennis greatly and profoundly. Truly a man after God's Heart.

I have known Dennis Richards for over 20 years and was his assistant for approximately 8 years when he pastored a church in College Park, MD. I have witnessed first hand the compassion he has for people. Dennis has always gone out of his way to help those in need. He counsels from the heart and includes Christ in all things. He understands people and I am very grateful for all the times he helped my husband and I through some rough patches. Unfortunately, my husband passed away in 2009 and Dennis was right there to support my family and I. He will be officiating my daughters wedding in July. He has literally watched her grow up. She never considered anyone else besides Dennis to officiate her wedding. I feel truly blessed to call Dennis my friend.

Dennis was a great officiant for our wedding! We wanted to have a ceremony that was not traditionally religious, so he worked with us to create a very spiritual ceremony that incorporated songs and quotes that were important to us a couple! He met with us before the ceremony to talk about the elements but, during the rehearsal, I knew that we had really chosen the right person to marry us! He knew so many ways to help make the day go smoothly, tips about how to exchange rings without a flub, where to stand, how to transition from one part of the wedding to the next and how to do all this on the beach. He was a calm and reassuring throughout the whole process and that helped me as the bride to be calm and get the most out of the ceremony. I would highly recommend working with Dennis, he has a real gift for making your vows not only special but also peaceful and memorable.

I have a Master's Degree in Theology from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. I have 20 plus years of hand on experience with couples in every phase of wedding and marriage.
