I love working with people, I love the creativity and thought it takes to create a fun,Unique exciting atmosphere. Because of this I focus on not only just what I bring to the event, but how and where it's placed, what lighting/atmospheric events to bring, where and how to arrange it to provide the most impact and excitement. The colors, any special songs that would make the event special or memorable. In what order to play the songs even, trying to think of what song would pull that one or two people that usually don't dance onto the dance floor. I remember this one past family reunion I did, the house it was held at was owned by the someone who just didn't enjoy music generally and actually was against having a DJ at the event, when I arrive he actually has me turn down the music to a barely audible level even if you were standing right next to the speakers. By the end of the event to everyone's surprise, not only was I able to get him on the dance floor but also singing Karaoke. He came up to me at the end of the night very happy with the performance and I could tell it would be a memorable night for all those who attended. :)
