About
I received my yoga training in India from the amazing Yogi Dinesh! I currently teach a variety of styles and classes; Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin/Stretching Yoga, Power Yoga, Gentle/Restorative Yoga, Meditation/Relaxation, Mindfulness Classes and Adaptive Yoga for special needs. I really enjoy helping my students understand the proper positioning in order to reduce injuries. I love what I do!
I currently teach at Avalon Yoga Studio in Palo Alto, Fitness Gyms and private and corporate lessons throughout the Bay Area!
I love seeing the results of my classes in the lives of my students. Their body becomes healthier, their mind is more at peace and their heart is a little happier.

Angie is a great yoga instructor! I love the Indian music and sound background- it sets a really nice tone. Yoga is more than physical- it also has a spirit to it and Angie creates a beautiful experience.
I also had 2 back surgeries recently and she helped me figure out how to modify my poses so that it can help me to heal. My core strength is coming back and I'm so glad.
Also- I dance and I've noticed I've been integrating some things I am learning with Angie into my dance moves and my regular stretching.
My body is changing and it's awesome! I'm proud of myself and so grateful for Angie and her training but also just who she is as a person.
She is a natural teacher and also business woman. She is sharp. Queen is a perfect title!
I hope to be just like her someday.

I had a fantastic time with Angie as my yoga instructor! I really enjoyed the unique perspective and style she has based on her training in India. She explains each move and proper positioning.

Angie is so great at catering and adapting to my specific needs and goals for my body and life. Each session I've had with her has never been dull. There are specific moves that we do each class to work on strength and flexibility, but she also incorporates new moves each time to challenge and provide variety. She is excellent at giving positive constructive feedback on form and she genuinely cares about the progress, health, and well-being for all her students. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Angie has a great grasp on the fundamentals of yoga and excellent understanding of how to help personalize her classes based on individual needs. She's a fantastic instructor!
