Goldberg Academic Tutoring

Introduction: I have more than 10 years of experience in working with students and helping them reach their academic best. Each student is unique, and my one-on-one tutoring allows students to get the individual attention they need. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, and to work with students to discover their most effective learning style. With a B.S. from Stanford, and a M.A. from UCSB in Ecology and Biology, I have a strong science and math background, and have a great deal of experience making these difficult subjects accessible to students at all levels. My specialty - and student preference - is working with High School students in math and science, but would be happy to discuss other options. I offer in-home tutoring to students in Palo Alto, Menlo Park and parts of Mountain View and Los Altos. For students outside of that geographic area, we can discuss a convenient meeting location in Palo Alto. First session/consultation is offered for free to make sure we're a good fit. There's nothing quite as inspiring as seeing those "ah ha" moments, and I believe that all students can succeed. While achieving good grades is often an intermediate goal, ultimately, I strive to make sure that students also develop good study skills, and a strong foundation of academic confidence, that will help them love learning for years to come.
