FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is unique. The distance plays a role in pricing as well as the types of materials needed. Concrete thickness varies as well as the types of finish. Different jobs require different machines. So pricing varies from job to job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important thing is to actually see the new project. This gives the owner a chance to meet me as well as allow me to evaluate the job. I can typically give the property owner a lot of options that will save them money. Or resolve simple drainage issues. I have been in the business for a long time so what seems like an obvious fix to me may not even occur to the owner. I enjoy educating people and coming up with ideas together to give them exactly what they want.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have actively done excavation grading and concrete work as well as installing underground utilities since 1996, I opened my own company in 2004 in Reno, NV. Even when the economy worsened in 2008 we thrived as we took the company to a national level doing work for the department of Veteran Affairs ( I am a Veteran) as well as the Army Corp of Engineers. I sold my 51 percent share of the company to my partner in 2013 and moved to Parker, CO so I could play an active role in raising my daughter. After taking some time off I started a new company and I am excited to see how and where this new smaller scale venture takes me.
