FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can't just give you an estimate online without seeing the project. There's to many variables that have to be considered to get you the best possible estimate. If the job is fairly simple or am I going to need a lot of materials to get the job done right. is the color that's being painted going to be lighter or darker then the original color, we need to charge more because it's double the coverage to get the right surfacing the clients looking for. I do my best to leave no hidden cost so the customer knows exactly what he or she is getting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically we schedule an appointment so I can go see the home to give an estimate when I reach the home I walk around with the homeowner so we can point out problem areas of the home that need a lot of attention. we have a seat and talk about colors and customers expectations of job performance and tasks at hand, insurance and exactly what the scope of work details. I then do a final walk by myself so I can take pictures and measurements of the home so I can get a proper estimate, so that the homeowner can have no unexpected costs. if hired, you the customer will be happy you gave us the chance
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a painter my whole life, i grew up in one house or another masking, caulking, priming, and rolling. My father was a painter before me. I started with his company legally when I was 17, under the table since I could remember. although my father made me a painter first, he made learn other trades as well. A well rounded professional is better than just a painter
