FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is generally competitive, however, I will always deliver the best results you can get for your budget. If I am performing a single task for your event, I charge a flat rate. If I am coordinating your entire event, I typically charge a percentage of your total budget. I am flexible and will make adjustments to help your special day be more affordable for you in any way I can.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several courses and I am a certified event and wedding planner. I went to Baldwin Beauty School for Cosmetology and provide both hair and traditional make-up. I have been working in the industry for most of my life and am naturally a very artistic individual that strives for perfection.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father owned a restaurant and was an executive chef for many years. He taught me how to cook and growing up in Austin I've always enjoyed the social scene. It all started because my friends and family were always asking that I throw whatever event they had coming up. I did holiday dinners and birthday parties, bachelorette parties, baby showers, house warming parties and eventually weddings, corporate events and new app launch parties including SXSW. I never intended on making a business of it, however, it grew into one by word of mouth and guests in attendance. I typically provide all or most services for smaller parties but I now work with a variety of vendors for larger ones.
