My family spent many years in Southeast Asia, so when I was born I was raised on the cuisines of Thailand, Vietnam and traditional American fare. This early exposure opened my mind and I enjoy cooking food from regions all over the world.

I hired Joe to cater a party that I threw for 40 friends and family. Joe met with me two weeks before the party to consult on the menu. He offered good advice and we had a plan within an hours time. On the day of the party he was ontime and prepared. My guests all raved about the food during and long after the party. I first met Joe 3 Years ago in his food truck "Mobile Awesome" . From that point on it became a ritual for the weekly Pablo Escobar and some Carnitas. So I was excited to hear about his new venture as a personal chef and of course wanted to give him a try.
This past summer I had a little outing of 8-10 friends and had Joe put the whole thing together for me; right down to the Tequila! He absolute killed it ! I am not sure if it was the pork and chicken Pozole or the butternut squash and roasted poblano tamales. (There was pork too!) that put it over the edge, but it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend giving Joe a try. Everything from a dinner at home to a gathering of friends and family. He is sure to have everyone talking!
