Painting furniture was our initial focus. We paint furniture BUT we don’t JUST paint furniture. We do every kind of paint finish, stripes, color blocks, silver and gold, YOU NAME IT! Our typical work is not just painting alone. We can refinish a piece to like-new condition. We meticulously layer colors and apply appropriate distress to achieve the desired effect. This is custom work, done in complete collaboration with the client. Our goal is to create a finished product that fully realizes the client’s goal without showing any signs of having been reworked.

Our bedroom furniture could best be described as mid-century modern or just plain old. The quality is solid but the furniture was, to put it bluntly, old and corny looking. It was dark and dreary and I really wanted something light and airy. The furniture belonged to my mother and I didn't want to get rid of it. I thought that I could have it redone and put it in our guest room. Tracy (LLHC) had a ton of great ideas. In addition to completely refurbishing (lacquer paint) the furniture - including mirroring my favorite piece, the dresser, she beautifully reupholstered the headboard. I can't say enough about the quality of her work and the professional, friendly way she does it. Of course, the furniture is staying in OUR bedroom, now. Bling for me and leather (headboard) for my husband. Perfect!

Tracy was EXCELLENT: She called me immediately upon entering a inquiry through her website. Over the phone I explained my need, she requested email photos of the work needed, promptly checked it, then called back with pricing and pickup and delivery arrangements. She never oversold me on "additional work" and also arranged at my request a delayed delivery date. The complicated repair, restoration and refinishing of my dresser is phenomenal. Her work is beautiful and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lipstick & Lacquer Home to all.

I had a five-star experience with L. & L. Four months ago, Tracy spray-painted a very intricate fireplace for me. She did a superb job! I was impressed with the smooth flawless finish as well as her meticulous preparation. Not a drop from the spray touched the hardwood floor or the wallpaper in the area!
