FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Studioscopic is happy to work with new clients to find the right budget that works with your scale and where you are in growing your business or creative ideas. Our budgets range from smaller one and two-person productions to larger budget operations. We pride ourselves on developing a production package for you that is just the right fit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get to know our clients -- not just the goals for one video but who they are and what they are about. Our videos are creative and personalized to each client so an initial conversation is very helpful to get us started. How can we help you tell your story? From there, we like to start setting goals and expectations on both ends. We will break down our production process and make sure that we are all on the same page in terms of steps involved, a timeline, and what to expect. Almost all our clients are repeat customers so it's great to talk about long-term goals and how this first project factors into them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is in fine art and illustration. I studied at Parsons School of Design and The University of the Arts before I begin working with film at Montclair University. Film and video eventually became my passion, working with it and experimenting with it. Today, my career as director of Studioscopic runs parallel to my personal art and film projects. I have produced and directed features and short films and that work was the basis for me becoming a Pew Arts and Heritage Fellow in 2015 that allowed me to take my work significantly further. I find that all the time spent honing my craft as a filmmaker and learning new tools to be able to tell my own stories makes me that much more creative and qualified to tell yours.
