FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are fair, but I'm always open to negotiate. My biggest passion is to help you have outstanding photographs. If we can work something out, great!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I need to know what they are looking for - not just the type of photos, but what they are using them for, and what kind of tone/mood they want to get from them. The more I know, the more I can help you get what you want. If possible, I like to spend a little time getting to know you - either weeks/days before the shoot (let's have a phone call or coffee) or right before the shoot. It'll help you feel more comfortable about getting in front of the camera - and it'll help me know you a little better to be able to really capture your true spirit. Always remember, the first 5-10 minutes are going to be awkward, you've got to get used to being in front of the camera and being able to really let your true self shine!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have no formal education in photography, but I've been doing it all my life. I always loved being my family's photographer at holidays and special occasions. From there, my love of photography grew during high school and college, as I would have small shoots with friends and do concert photography. After college, while working in the music industry full time, the company I worked for would send me out to work with various artists are video shoots, concerts and fan clubs. From there, I decided to start my own part-time photography company doing photos here and there. I'm now looking to turn this into a full-time gig and would love to opportunity to tell your story!
