FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
EVERY project is different. There is no one budget to cover every variation in every video, graphics, animation, or web project. And, unlike many companies, we're able to discount based on the number of our services a client uses so we save them time, effort AND money. The client always knows what a project will cost without surprises. We admit, we're not always the cheapest group on the block BUT... we're not the expensive Hollywood guys either. Our philosophy - we don't bid low to get a job and we don't bid high to cover ourselves. We want to know what you really need and then we figure out a fair price based on our experience and quality of work we demand of ourselves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We ask a lot of questions because we sincerely need to know your real needs. We don't tell you how to run your business, but we take your goals and put them into a media concept. 1) Client interview to determine needs - then create a Production Agreement 2) Develop a project outline (no matter a video, a website, animation or webcast) 3) Develop a project script 4) Develop a shot list (to know who, with what, where, when etc.) 5) With a final knowledge of what's needed.... we can develop a final budget. NOTE: NO ONE can tell you what a project will cost without knowing what's required. We can give an estimate but can a home builder tell you the cost of a home without knowing the size? Materials? Location? Particulars? 6) Start the planning and scheduling process 7) Start developing graphics, animation or shooting the video. Pick a talent. 8) Client review of materials 9) Final edit and make ready depending on use.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My life and the lives of all of our people has been spent in either education or actual work experience. Personally I honed the basis for my creative skills while winning three collage scholarships in music, graduating the Naval Academy School of Music and spending three years in the Army Band, producing concerts and running a million dollar+ ad agency. Our graphics designer studied architecture and uses his skill of airbrush and now digital graphics. Our crews of cameramen, projectionists, audio and animation have performed work for the largest companies in the world and major news and sports networks.
