- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100 per hour for my sessions. This is handled by credit card or pay pal before the session begins for long distance sessions. If I meet people in person, I will take cash or a check.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do an intake interview where I tell people that there is no commitment to come to the first session. This is a get to know you session where we both will be evaluating if we can and want to work together. I tell people that I will ask a lot of questions, do a lot of listening and at the end of the first session I will give them a treatment summary of what my professional impressions are about that is going on with them, what we will be working on in the future to meet the goals that they have for changes they want to make, and how long it will take and how often we will meet. If they feel good about the first session and have made progress towards their goals and we all want to move forward together, then we will make more appointments. If for some reason it didn't work or the client met their goals in the session, then I tell them what the next steps for them to take would be. The session last 1-1/2 hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's in social work degree (MSW) and in depth training as a sex therapist and a tantra teacher. I have training in mediation and communication and couple and family therapy. I have training in body centered psychotherapy and brief family therapy so that the counseling I offer is time limited and goal oriented. I am certified by Newfield Network as a life and success coach. I have training in psychospiritual dynamics through the Diamond Approach work I have done for many years.
