FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes we do. However it is important to note that prices can vary depending on the clients circumstances, their needs, and most importantly the needs of their pet.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Clients will either call our office, email our trainer, or call them directly, and we will set up an evaluation. We will pick a time and day that works best for the client as well as any other involved members of the family. The trainer then will come over and go through a list of comprehensive questions gathering information and history on the clients dog, as well as their needs and challenges. At this point we have them handle their pet while we watch, and then we handle while they watch. We discuss our theory, technique, and they get to see some instant results in their pets behavior. It is only then, that we can truly give a professional recommendation for a training program that does in fact meet all of their needs as well as the budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Team Coordinator with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team. I am the senior trainer in our market locally, as well as I oversee our Las Vegas and Los Angeles market. I personally have trained over 500 dogs, and been with the company for close to 6 years. I am certified to train dogs in Behavior Modification, Basic Obedience On/Off Leash, Retrieval Training, Scent Work/Tracking, Personal Protection, Advanced Protection, Service Dog Training and Certifications, Therapy Dog Training, and Security Training. I All of our trainers go through our initial recruitment process and interviews before qualifying to be a trainer with Lorenzo's Dog Training Team. At that point we go to our training center in Cleveland, OH, for 4-6 weeks for our education and training before being certified as team trainers. All Lorenzo's Dog Trainers must pass written and physical testing before being certified at this level. As the trainer gains more experience, the senior trainers on the team further their education and advance their skill set as well as what programs they are able to teach. At the Team Coordinator level, the trainer is now able to coach and mentor trainers as their education is still advanced further with the ultimate goal of becoming a Master Trainer.
