After initially speaking with Rick and getting past his high school language and slang, we set an appointment to meet on a Tuesday. He seemed highly motivated and interested to come out and give me a bid on my project as any respectable business would. We set an appointment to meet a couple days later at a time that was most beneficial to him. He called me 15 minutes before our meeting to tell me he wasn't going to make it. We set a new time for a 2nd appointment 3 days later. After getting off work early for a 2nd time to meet Rick, 3 phone messages and 2 text message later, he never showed up or returned my calls. Very unprofessional to say the least and the polar opposite of his positive reviews which is the only reason why I hired him. I found another contractor who completed the job in 24 hours at a reasonable price but still thought I would share my experience with Ricks flooring. After my dealing with Ricks flooring I questioned if it was a business at all.

Rick was a pleasure to work with. He always got back to me when I had a question with a phone call or text. He is very easy to work with and started and finished the job exactly when he said he would. My floors came out beautifully. Rick takes tremendous pride in his work and it shows in his work. He is a true craftsman.

Rick is 1) skilled and knowledgeable in his craft, 2) a great communicator, 3) easy going and pleasant to work with. He replaced all the flooring in a two bedroom condo. Laminate and tile. From start to finish he handled every detail with professionalism. I will definitely call him again for a flooring project.

I was contacted several times by Rick about different flooring colors and styles. I sent him a sample from Home Depot of the color I was looking for, which was a walnut wood, dark brown color and texture. He kept sending me Brazilian cherry samples, obviously not paying attention to what I wanted. I overlooked this issue and scheduled a time for him to do a home consultation. He said he could do the weekend of January thirteenth. Needless to say, it is a week and half later and never heard from him again. If he didn't want the job, i would have expected a courtesy call to let me know.
