Typical Bait and SWITCH, at $2.50 a square foot and then comes and increases it to $4.55 a square foot, just because he has to remove BASEBOARDS? Came to the house to give me a bid, but kept arguing with me that since he is licensed contractor, he KNOWS that I have laminate flooring. I told him that I have the boxes and it is NOT laminate it is ENGINEERED WOOD. Which is really strange for a contractor to argue with the owner WHO KNOWS what kind of FLOOR is in his house. EXTREMELY argumentative person, doesn't want to listen to reason. Raises his voice considerably if you remind him that he quoted a different WRITTEN DOWN. His quote was clear which said "$2.50 including GLUE". Now suddenly he wants $4.55 and DOESN'T want to work with Manufacturer Glue. Stay away OR if you use him, WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING and MAKE HIM SIGN IT. He says one thing, and then changes. FACT: I told him that we need sound barrier, and we can ONLY USE GLUE that is approved by my HOA. I told him that I live on 7th Floor, it is quite evident from my address.

This customer didn’t told me all the details regarding his project so my first quote was based on what he told me!I find out later at the FRE estimate that he wants some special glue with sound barrier proof and that we have to demo some old wood floors and that he lives at the 7th level!I tried to explain him everything but he sad that he knows better everything and he doesn’t want me to use the glue witch I gave warranty for because he found something cheaper and I told him very polite that I think we are not going to take his project and that are many company’s that my be available for him!He had a bad attitude and that is the story!You can see in all my reviews that I care about all my customers and we only deliver great jobs,whenever I think that we cannot do that I rather loose the project!
