Ms. Castillo is pleasant, organized, shows creative ideas in her portfolio, and of course, holds all the relevant degrees and credentials. What you are probably questioning is, Is she that great? She is. She is exactly what she appears to be and more. Her professionalism, infectious laughter, and vibrant energy are part of her daily character, and it is contagious. She is exciting to be around and a pleasure to work with in general. She works well as a team or as an individual. I have known her to be equally productive while working from home as well as if she was in the office. She does well when supervising others, taking a directive approach with a warm interpersonal style. She is very driven to her craft, often taking additional courses in graphic design, other forms of artistry, business, and computers—all because she enjoys learning. She will go the extra mile, educating herself and the team on ideas that are relevant to the company. It was her love of technology that finally convinced IITAP and GPP to begin utilizing social media as a marketing tool. Ms. Castillo is the person that you look forward to seeing at the office, exchanging ideas with during meetings, or speaking to on the phone. Her work is impeccable, fresh, and exciting.

Serena has the unique ability to foresee potential challenges down the road on projects and then miraculously incorporate that in the production planning process. I have never worked with someone with the ability to do so this so effectively and consistently. This is an AMAZING skill!

Serena is the only designer I know who proofreads her own work, and contacts the printer at the beginning of a project to avoid any surprises down the road. Those are rare traits on their own, much more rare combined. You don't have to worry about working with Serena; she gets the job done right and on time.
