Introduction: I look at it as (hopefully) an opportunity to be building something long term. A business (but friendly) relationship that you can trust and feel confident about enough to refer to your family and friends. I have tech friends (client-customers) that are newbies all the way to cutting-edge advanced users and some tech friends I've helped for 30+ years (from their 1 PC home office to a 20+ employee company). I have worked for many large goverment agencies and huge private sector financial institutions. But there is nothing like being someone's 'go-to' "Tech Guy" - There when you need him (for repairs or service) and also to advise when it comes time for investing in tech for your future. I started out in 1991 and I'm still helping my tech friends... What can I help you with today? Most of the time I get to meet new people; many of whom need, want or are interested in using technology to help them achieve their personal or professional goals. I love that enthusiasm and am excited to let them know about even newer, faster and hopefully more helpful ways tech can enhance their lives. What is the absolute best is helping them use what they already have to get to where they want to be. And that's exciting - to see and feel and experience!
