- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on a monthly rate as I usually operate on a month to month basis with clients. Prices do vary depending on the exact needs of the client and what he/she may be looking for. Clients (as well as myself) reserve the right to cancel at anytime, however refunds are not given. The month is always paid in advance as well. I do offer discounts if more than one of you (a friend or family member) signs up at the same time. I also offer a $15/month discount if you sign up during the initial consultation phase.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After an initial contact, I usually arrange for a consultation with the client, either in person or over the telephone. Here we talk about what your goals and desires are and see if there is a match between us to where I can help you get to where you want to be. Usually during this initial consultation I'll provide you with some free coaching services (and what this is or entails will depend on the person). This may come in the form of a week long training plan with guidance in nutrition, it may come in the form of creating a morning routine for you, or it may even come in the form of teaching you a breathing technique for stress management. If there is a good match for both myself and the client, we then proceed forward with outlining a schedule, goals, and a strategic plan for achieving those goals as well as a payment plan and options for payment. We would also further talk about expectations along the way and modifying and making adjustments as needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Level 1 Certified Run Coach, Certified Youth Sports Coach, Martial Arts Instructor and Certified Life Coach. I also have training in the Mark Divine SealFit and Unbeatable Mind programs, Tony Robbins' Unleash the Power Within (UPW), and Jack Canfield Train the Trainer Programs. My formal educational background includes a BS in Biology/Chemistry with a minor in Sports Science. I also hold an MS degree in Environmental Science. Currently I am working on my certification credentials as a nutrition specialist. I am also a martial artist, avid trail runner, adventure fitness enthusiast, author of the book "MindStrong," and obstacle course race junkie.
