I needed help desperately to get my house ready for visitors at the end of May. I received several quotes but they were all skeptical about being able to finish the job within the tight deadline I have. I'm so glad I called Karen. She came in, assessed what needed to be done (organizing, declutter, cleaning) and she offered her services on the spot. She may be small in stature but she has a huge caring heart and a great sense of humor. My house is beautiful now thanks to Karen and it hasn't looked this good in over eight years. Karen is professional and personable, just who I needed to help with my huge project. She did an outstanding job and I am going to hire her to help me maintain my beautiful space.

To the homeowner: Take pictures before cleaning crews arrive in all the areas they will be cleaning. It is easier to prove when something is damaged. When it comes into question you will have proof, despite any denials made. Do not multi-task while they are in your home. Pay attention and ask questions when concerned. Remove any valuables from the area that will be cleaned. Immediately check for any damaged,missing or broken items within the first twenty-four hours. Be sure you know where things have been moved before they leave, they do not like to be questioned afterwards. As a paying customer do not do their job. Its like paying yourself to work. Would not recommend if you are elderly or have collectible items that can be damaged by careless workers. Be very explicit in the details of your request. They will hold you to it. Use your computer and create some type of receipt or invoice, or ask for one. They will want cash and not provide any proof of payment. If any aspect of the job changes, update your request, as they will hold you to that as well. Note any disagreements in written, not verbally or by text. Use your request as a log of events as they occur. Get some type of agreement that they understand your altered request. The Thumbtack site has information on how to resolve issues so read it carefully. It is a tedious process, and easily becomes personal and less professional when trying to resolve it. Inviting a stranger into your home is very personal choice, so choose someone that will treat you and your things respectfully. Despite the condition there is always a story behind it, you don't have to share it but you should work with someone that respects it. Clearly there is a lot more effort involved in working with this provider, so that should be considered as well. This may not be your experience, but it should be considered as part of your decision making process. We cannot recommend this provider. Whatever the reply is to this comment by the provider, keep in mind the intent of sharing this information to help others avoid potential problems. The provider may make an attempt to be negative towards the homeowner, which would be unfortunate. However, a reply such as that will likely to reveal the choice you need to make.

Prices are quoted by the job and not by the hour. But in general $100.00 per 1000 sq ft. Prices are subject to change depending on the condition of the property or size of the project.

I prefer to do an on-site quote in order to accurately price the job and to discuss the exact needs of the client. Prices are quoted by the job and not by the hour. I offer other services provided including any haul away item on a re-organization project.
