Introduction: I just finished my sixth year teaching in an academic setting. During this time, I have taught in both Middle School and college classrooms. Additionally, I have facilitated extra-curricular programs and tutored students individually which has allowed me to expand the age range which I have worked from Kindergarten through college. I believe these experiences have allowed me to become a well-rounded instructor which allows me to tailor student learning to their specific needs. I particularly enjoying working with Middle School and High School Students. In the past, I have tutored students in English, History, French, and SAT prep. As a Middle School teacher, I loved helping my students develop new study skills and identifying the organizational tools and learning approaches which worked best for them. As a college instructor, I am particularly interested in helping my students develop strong arguments and enhance their writing skills. I have a MA in theatre education which has prepared me to help my students who are kinesthetic learners engage in the material in new ways.
