Jessie really listened as I explained my life style and wellness choices. She responded with such positive comments; I felt good about my choices and her responses fostered more open conversations. She provided alternatives to my unique needs that made sense for me rather than judge or try to change me. For the past year, I’ve been working with Jessie and it’s improved my body composition and relationship with food. Not only is she knowledgeable in nutrition and fitness, she’s a lot of fun to be around. One of the things that makes Jessie stand out as a health and fitness coach is that she is an excellent listener. That translates to her offering exercises that directly help address any areas you want to improve. Working out with her is never painful – it is hard work – but you never feel that you’re unable to move the next day. Everything is done to ensure you can safely and effectively do the exercises. As a health coach, Jessie motto is not to deny or punish but to facilitate healthy eating habits. Other fitness trainers I’ve heard of institute a strict, bland diet. However, Jessie wants to make sure your diet is sustainable for the long term so she’s really good at offering healthy alternatives to guilty pleasures. I can’t recommend Jessie enough!

I've been working with Jessi for over a year and with her coaching I have grown into a place where I enjoy what I eat, I don't feel guilt about my food choices, and I feel better. I look forward to my time with Jessi and always walk away with new knowledge. Having worked with nutritionists before, I assumed Jessi would first evaluate my eating habits and I would then be assigned a diet. Instead, Jessi began by coaching me to change the way I think about my body and food (no foods are inherently good or bad) and helped me to identify stressors in my life and establish new habits for managing stress. Once these new habits and mindsets were established, we began tinkering with my food choices and identifying how they impacted me--mentally and physically--until we were able to identify foods that made me feel best. Jessi has helped me to change my my health habits and in ways that I wouldn't have been able to figure out on my own and were unlikely to be addressed by other professionals. Thank you, Jessi!
