I moved from a 2 bedroom town home and Roy Movers loaded me in 45 minutes. Nothing was broken and they were VERY EFFICIENT. I mark Jesus and his team MOVERS OF THE YEAR.Dec 2, 2018Verified
I needed a moving company the day before I moved cuz it was sudden and I found this company called Rob’s Jobs. They were really fast to respond to my request. They set up an appointment and were here the next day. The whole move only Took about 2 hours which was amazingly fast. Very satisfied that I did business with them.Aug 3, 2018Verified
Where to start - Rob arrived 1.5 hours late (I found out he was running late by calling him after the agreed upon start time and he then told me he was an hour away). Kept making excuses and making it sound like he was closer than he was. Total price ended up being expensive (even with discount for the lateness), because they moved SO SLOW. It took them 7.5 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment 2 miles. Zero urgency. The one thing we thought they did well was wrap our furniture, but we have since found scratched furniture (photo attached). They also left multiple pieces shrink wrapped and didnt pay attention to our labels. We asked them to remove their shoes on our newly cleaned carpets and they acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. By the end we just wanted them out of our house. No idea how they have only 5 star reviews but would steer clear!! Also as an FYI they just rent a U-Haul.Nov 15, 2018VerifiedRob's Jobs's reply
Where to start indeed. It had already been stated that the late start time was one stemming from a personal matter with one of our employees; one that was apologized for. You were thusly told you would be compensated for your time. What followed was a string of harassing phone calls over the span of an hour, during transit, to berate us regarding time and “respect”. Something you exhibited little of for said employees. Regarding price we are a competitive company that beats most by up to half or at least have matching rates. Those lowball rates most see are often times just what it seems; too good to be true. You provided us with a list befitting of a standard 2 bedroom apartment and some 30 odd boxes. Upon arrival you had double the amount of listed boxes as well as a storage unit that wasn’t mentioned when booking. Nothing was disassembled either which would have saved on time and cost itself. You weren’t charged additional fees for a list deviation and weren’t charged for handling on specialty/unique items which was your 8ft tanning lamp bed in question. You were given an hr and a half off at the end of the move as well. Everything accounted for alone netted you a savings north of $300 itself. A quick Google search for a standard time frame of a 2 bedroom apartment yielded the following: “ It should take 3 movers roughly 6 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment locally”. We managed a 7.5 hr move with 2 workers, double the listed box amount(list deviation), storage unit on a separate floor(never mentioned and list deviation) and the disassembly and wrapping of furniture in that time. You have unrealistic expectations and a poorly informed notion of what moving entails and what it demands of workers being a very labor intensive job it seems. You were asked where to place furniture and boxes/ bins to which we were informed a loft area and did just that. Most of said boxes and bins were missing labels or unintelligible altogether. Furniture and boxes/bins that were clearly labeled were moved to their respective areas as instructed. Employees removed their shoes upon request as well with no hassle. You were asked at the end of the move if there was anything else we could do for you to which we were told no, hence the still shrink wrapped furniture that we usually take care of at the end of a move. We exercise flexibility, understanding and aim to establish and foster a good standing with our clients which is why we are so highly rated. We work through U-Haul as a means to afford our clients further savings.
I moved from a storage unit into a house and these guys did a much better job than the large company I hired to move me cross country. Affordable and quality work. I would definitely recommend to anyone moving.Oct 17, 2018Verified
I thought Rob’s Jobs did an excellent job with all the furniture and other items I had and made my move very smooth. They asked many questions in regards to what items needed to be moved and what was not going on the truck. Another thing that impressed me was how they managed to fit all my belongings in the moving truckOct 1, 2018Verified
