Introduction: I started working as an electrician in 2001 and prior to venturing out on my own in 2010, I worked as a Foreman for an electrical firm that serviced many different facts of the elecrical industry. This firm serviced many commercial buildings and residential homes wich enabled me to become an expert in these areas.
Through all this years I learned how to not only provide superior electrical services but excellent customer service, that is my number one priority.

A few weeks ago, outlets in a bedroom suddenly stopped working. After some frantic googling, I found Ivan's company based on the great reviews. I was amazed that he was able to come over just a couple hours after I called him about the problem.
Ivan was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the whole troubleshooting process, since I'm a new homeowner and wanted to understand what was going on. He explained what the issue was, step-by-step how to diagnose it, and how he would fix it.
Within 20-30 minutes, Ivan had resolved the problem and restored power in the bedroom. As an extra bonus, he gave me some great tips to help prevent issues like this in the future.

We wanted some CAT7 ethernet cables concealed by running through the celling and a coaxial run into the kitchen to a small counter TV. We were also looking to replace outdated fluorescent lighting with LED. Ivan responded to our job with a site visit and a prompt estimate. During the site visit he listened carefully to what we thought we wanted and needed. Ivan made some suggestions and recommendations which made sense. On the day of the work, Ivan and his assistant were on time and started to work right away on the cables. They did an amazing job of fishing cables to existing wall outlets and installing new ones where none existed. We were really pleased with the results. Ivan is able to do any necessary plaster work too, so the job is fully completed, if needed. When it came to the lighting, we had originally discussed replacing the fluorescent bulbs new LED tubes, but when I mentioned the annoying buzz and slow lighting with the old lights, Ivan suggested replacing the whole units with new LED panels that would cover more area. While his assistant continued work on the coaxial cable, Ivan went to Home Depot to see what he could find. He returned with panels that would span the entire length of all 3 lighting panels. Ivan reviewed the bill from Home Depot for approval before we continued. We found the cost very reasonable. The end results are ultra quiet, instant on lighting that is way more bright than the old lights. Everyone else wanted to replace our panels with canned lights, but we really prefer the panels. We had previously replaced the original plain plastic panels with more decorative panels. The new full span LED panels really make the bathrooms and kitchen POP! We were thrilled that Ivan would haul away all the old parts and tubes and really did a great job of cleaning up in each room they worked in. We are truly pleased with the coaxial cable connection in the kitchen for the counter TV. It cleaned up a crazy cable run that ran along floors and over window treatments and allows the TV to swivel to face the kitchen when I cook, or the dinner table when we eat. I don't think there is much in the way of electrical and wiring work that Ivan cannot handle. He also does TV installs and mounting and Audio System installs. I am certain we will use his skills again. Highly recommend IC Electric and Ivan.
