FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free thirty minute discovery call to all of my clients to determine if my services are the best fit for their needs. It's important you connect with and trust your coach, and our discovery call is our chance to get to know one another better and set goals, as well as lay out our expectations on both sides. I also use that time to develop a detailed action plan for our sessions, which is provided to the client post-call so they can make a determination whether to move forward with services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Administration, with a focus on Human Resources. I have years of experience as a hiring manager and have conducted over 500+ interviews in the past three years alone. I have had well over 1,000 resumes cross my desk over the course of my career, so I have intimate knowledge of what employers are looking for in a candidate.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for years as a hiring manager, and was a career coach for alumni from my alma mater. Career Renovations by Sarah was created as a way to expand the services I offer to an even larger population.
