FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We prefer to take a look at projects before quoting prices. There are often things that homeowners wouldn't even consider when describing a project and we don't like them to have surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet and come up with a scope of work. Sometimes I will give a quote on the spot, sometimes I will crunch numbers and send a quote later. We will then review those numbers, I will answer questions and make suggestions as needed. From there I and my team are pretty autonomous. I check in regularly with the homeowner, if surprises (i.e. Wood rot or mold) come up we discuss options and move forward. I like it to be as stress free and easy as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'll be honest, my education comes from a long line of people who have done it longer and better than I have. I also have learned through passing along what I know.
