Joel has been teaching me to use my DSLR camera for a few months now and the results have been spectacular. I was intimidated by it's features and almost stuck the thing in a drawer or gave it to one of my kids. Glad I didn't as now I carry my camera with me everywhere and make magic things happen. Before Joel, it was just a $1,000 paperweight. Joel is always on time, full of ideas, is a great listener, and has so much real-world knowledge to share that I am always looking forward to our meetings. Hire him with no reservations as long as it doesn't take his time away from me!

Joel has been taking my picture professionally since 2012. At this point I don't want to work with anyone else! He is incredibly talented and fun to work with. The pictures I need for my yoga business never look staged or forced because he knows when he needs to be quick as well as when it's time to be patient. I get tons of compliments on his headshots too. I've been told they capture who I am as a teacher and make clear that I'm good at what I do. In a market where there's a bunch of teachers similar to me, having that has made a real difference. He's great with lighting in nature or in studios. I always get my pictures before my deadlines. I can't recommend him enough!
