Our Unplugged Wedding in a Redwood Grove. A picture is just a picture unless it captures the essence of the moment. It takes someone with dynamic talent, an eye for composition, and understanding of human behavior and emotions to create aesthetically beautiful memories through pictures. If this is what you're looking for from a photographer, then look no further. Alfred is your guy! I could probably write a thesis about our experience that day-- how Alfred was incredibly professional, how he showed up super early and stayed super late, how he was friendly and accommodating, how he was like a ninja who quietly and efficiently got the job done, and how our pictures were delivered in the most thoughtful way--but I'm going to spare you all the details and just focus on what I think makes him unique. My (now) husband and I wanted to have an "UNPLUGGED" wedding ceremony for two reasons: (1) We got married outside in the middle of a gorgeous redwood grove and wanted our guests to be present in nature with us and (2) we wanted to see and feel everyone's emotions as the ceremony unfolded instead of looking at everyone through a screen. Alfred has a real talent for capturing both the beauty of nature and the subtleties of the many emotions we felt that day - it was perfect! When I look at our STUNNING pictures, I remember feeling inspired by the trees towering over all of us, I remember feeling hopeful for the future, and most importantly, I remember all the love. Each love story is unique and every wedding is different. Tell me about the passion between you and other half. Tell me about your venue locations and wedding day details and I can get you a more accurate quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Being your wedding photographer doesn't mean we meet once and the next time you'll hear from me is on your wedding day. We work together throughout your wedding planning to ensure your big day is captured in the most organized and timely fashion. But most of all, we ensure it's a fun process. Your wedding happens once in a lifetime. Let's get it right the only time it happens.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught photographer who learned from my mentors. In this crazy world, I love the beauty and tenderness of a wedding.
