Let me start off by acknowledging that their work was excellent. However there was a breakdown in communication regarding the price. I had included a close up and a distant picture with a description of my project in hopes of getting an accurate quote. Jared quoted me $95/hour and thought it would take "an hour or two of labor to troubleshoot and repair". The project ended up taking longer, but at no point did he communicate that the price was going from $95/$190 alllll the way up to $860. That is a significant jump in price and in every other project I've had the contractors quote me an accurate price before beginning the work-- that way I have the opportunity to say no if I don't want to spend that much. The owner was very nice and said he would allow me to make multiple payments on it but I would still like to caution others who are considering using this company. The sign works well, they are very friendly people. But they need to have some sort of protocol for communicating when a project is going to be 4 times more expensive before they do all the work, leaving the customer with a huge bill that hadn't budgeted for.

Wonderful service. Had a large problem with my electrical and they were not only able to figure out where the problem was, they were able to fix it. Fast, clean, and kept me informed as to what they were doing every step of the way. I will be recommending them to anyone I know who has any electrical need.

I have a 100 year old farmhouse and they helped route at 220 v for a new oven. Had such a great experience with A Better Electric. They were very professional, reliable and trustworthy. Jared was very kind and quick to respond. I will be calling them back in the future for all my electric needs.
