FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Almost all of my clients work with me in packages 4 sessions at a time, and some purchase a long-term package of 24 sessions. I work this way because consistency and accountability are such an important part of helping you make real progress with your goals. For that reason, I make my packages more affordable than drop-in appointments to encourage commitment to the process. My base rate is $100 for a one-off drop-in consultation. If you like, you can "try me out" at this rate and then apply that amount toward your first package, should you choose to continue. The Basic package is $320 for four 50 minute sessions ($80 per session) that must be used within 8 weeks, plus limited email support between sessions if you need to check in. Ideally, we work weekly, but some clients prefer to schedule coaching sessions every other week, hence the 8 week time limit. If after your first package you decide you want to work long term, you can apply the $320 payment towards the transformation package. The transformation package is 24 50 minute sessions for $1680 ($70 per session), plus email support, which must be used within one year, again using weekly or semi-weekly appointments. This package is ideal for folks who are ready to make some big changes in their lives in a relatively short period of time. I do make a limited number of sliding scale basic packages available every month, so if you are facing financial hardship but really want to work with me, feel free to check in with me about a reduced rate. Please respect these slots are intended for those who truly need them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First lets just have a conversation, free of charge - we can schedule a call or if you are local, drop by my office in NE Portland for a 20 minute chat. I do this because I know its important for us to get to know each other a bit and decide if we are a good fit before any money changes hands. The most important thing in the beginning is to have a clear agreement about what you want to get out of the coaching, and how I can support you in moving forward. Some clients want a coach who will really push them, others want a safe space to talk things out as they figure their lives out. Let me know what you need! If you decide to hire me as a coach, we'll roughly follow this basic structure: 1. Getting clear on your goals (and the values that drive them), 2. Identifying the primary obstacles. 3. Working together to develop strategies and plans to move you forward. 4. As you take action on realizing your plans, we'll review the successes and setbacks along the way, and come up with new plans and strategies as necessary. I'll be your accountability partner encouraging you to follow through with your commitments. I'll also be am empathetic listener and a champion for your highest potential.
