My wife and several friends who are interested in cooking watched chef Marc of Spark Private Chef Services skillfully prepare a 3 course gourmet meal which we then sat down and ate. The meal chef Marc prepared was every bit as good as ANY high end restaurant I've ever visited. Marc is an excellent communicator and took time to address questions, often in great detail. Marc also participated in a lively and wide ranging conversation around the dinner table. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Marc Frech of Spark is not only an experienced and talented chef he has the gift for teaching. Our group enjoyed his company and conversation just as much as the cooking instruction and joy of eating it together. The 3 course dinner had some very sophisticated flavors and texture but not too complicated. Real food, real fresh, and after this class even I could make it and so will. I highly recommend Marc. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Marc is clearly a pro, very knowledgeable and able to instruct with a clear and charming style. He demonstrated and taught how to prepare a delicious meal that included a goat cheese, caramelized onion and micro green appetizer; steelhead filet over pasta and topped with a citronette relish; and an apple tartan dessert. The dinner was delicious but, more importantly the demonstrated techniques seemed straightforward and doable. I highly recommend him as an instructor, personal chef or a combination of both like he did for us. His was also reasonably priced.
