FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing may be negotiable, with a $25, one-hour minimum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I communicate best via text messaging. Unfortunately, I'm unavailable to answer my phone during the day, but I check messages and voicemail frequently. If your project is simple, I'll come out and get it done as soon as we schedule it. If it looks like it will take more time, I'll assess the project and give you my schedule and an estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a Jill of all trades for years, mostly as a result of my work in theater. I've been a lighting designer, actor, director and stage manager. I've volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, been a professional housekeeper, and assembled a variety of products during my time at Lamps Plus. I learned a long time ago not to be afraid of ladders, how to use tools and smart body mechanics to make a job easier, how to be careful with valuable things, and how to organize a project so it makes sense.
