FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am an in-network provider with the following insurance plans: Regence BC/BS, Optum, United Health, Providence, MHN. For other insurance plans I can do out-of-network billing. For out-of-pocket payees my fee per hour is $200 for individual sessions of 50-minutes, however I offer session packages for a significant savings. I do not offer sliding scale fees at this time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak to the prospective customer on the phone to give us both a chance to evaluate whether we are a good fit. If so, then we schedule an initial appointment and I share with the client my portal information so that she/he may complete the intake paperwork online. At the initial session I conduct an assessment by collecting background information, information about the presenting problem, treatment goals, and how I plan to help the client on these goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed psychologist for over 12 years and have over 16 years of mental health experience. I have a doctorate in Family Psychology from Seton Hall University (New Jersey), as well as two Master's Degrees. I am licensed in Missouri, California, and Oregon. I have received training in the CBT/TEAM model and use cutting-edge techniques which, when consistently and faithfully implemented, bring about rapid change for my clients.
