FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally our work is covered by an insurance policy. This means the insurance will pay for all of the work we do minus your deductible. The deductible will be collected by the client at the end of the rebuild or mitigation. Deductibles can vary depending on your policy. Always be sure to find out what your deductible may be by asking your agent before starting any work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the customer will contact us after they notice damage to their home. We then will send a representative to the home to provide a free damage assessment. Once the assessment and estimate are provided, we then wait for approval from the property owner to begin work. When finished with our work, we then send a final invoice to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brighten Restoration Oregon damage technicians specialize in disaster restoration. Each Oregon damage technician holds and maintains WTR (Water Damage Technician), ASD (Applied Structural Drying) AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) and FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician) Certifications through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification). We have a continued education program that keeps our technicians ahead of the industry standard.
