FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of job, I charge $40-75hr for actual work being done and not for time chatting or listening to ideas on how the job should be done. If you are a senior citizen, I will almost always cut you a break. (I hope to retire someday too!)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to outline the job first. I also like to explore all ideas they may have to ensure the job doesn’t change too much along the way. It pays to ask lots of questions and also make the client feel like they have total control in the process. After that, I like to get right to work! Being diligent and on time makes for a less stressful environment. If I do hit a snag, no worry! -just explain any problems as they arise and most often, they will understand. Being open and honest are the only ways to do a job. This always has lead me to success and made my clients happy!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been around the construction industry since early childhood. I also love what I do! Being able to see projects through the end is an enjoyable process for me as well as a big smile on my clients face. Being able to do a job is one thing, but to do one Well is the ultimate goal of mine! I was raised in Montana and out there one must wear a lot of hats to get things done. . . Sometimes you have to work outside your comfort zone and be willing to learn along the way. Being patient and careful will always pay off in the end.
