FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat hourly rate of $40. I do this because each dog learns differently. I have found that it is much more cost efficient for customers to be charged an hourly rate as opposed to a set fee for # of commands learned or courses completed (basic, intermediate, advanced).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is slightly longer than the rest, as we conduct a behavioral analysis of the family and dog. This typically is about 30 minutes in length and is free to the customer! We perform this analysis so that we can have a better understanding of what is occurring within the household and then, provide a training plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a PhD and 2 Master's degrees. I have spent over 15 years working in both mental health and with training dogs. I have extensive training in behavioral analysis of dogs, communicating with them and bolstering the human animal bond.
