FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer courses at our Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA locations where individuals can receive training and certification. Price depends on the course needed - Heartsaver courses are meant for lay rescuers and start at $39 per person. Healthcare provider courses such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS start at $59 per person. For onsite classes where we come to you - the prices do not change. We do not charge extra fees for classes in the NC, VA, and surrounding areas! The cost is per person and not by the group.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients can enjoy a cup of coffee on me or simply get the ball rolling over the phone/email. I answer calls/emails quick and strive to get the client taken care of ASAP. Onsite CPR/Safety training courses are scheduled around the client; therefore, all I need to get a class confirmed is a date and time that works for the client, an address, and a headcount. Need an AED or first aid supplies? I can do a free/no obligation demo so that you can see all the brands of AEDs and compare or I can recommend a brand for you based on the work environment you are in.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors are American Heart Association certified instructors and most are healthcare professionals part time (RN's, EMT's, firefighters, etc.). The owner, Paul Kearns, helped write the Good Samaritan Law as well as helped implement AEDs in all Wake County Public Schools.
