Introduction: I'm a Ph.D student in applied math at NCSU, so I'm qualified to tutor everything from basic algebra through college math. I firmly believe that math doesn't have to be painful (and can actually be fun sometimes) and I will take whatever approach necessary to help my students feel the same way. I have experience working with special needs students.
I love to see that "ah ha!" moment on a student's face when they finally figure out a concept that was giving them trouble. Nothing makes me happier than helping my students succeed.

Emma tutored me on the math required for the GRE including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. She was very patient with me and did a great job explaining the concepts when they didn't click.
